Who do I phone to get rid of a virus?
I have the funmoods virus on my dell laptop, Im with windowns 7 and BT broadband. Ive tried countless things to get rid of funmoods being my homepage. Ive unistalled it, totally removed it and done everything the internet has said but it still comes on as my homepage.
There are hundreds of people on different help pages who have tried everything but it just won’t remove.
Do I phone BT customer support to help or is there a windows support number?

Unfortunately there isn’t a BT or Windows phone number that will help you – though if you’re willing to pay money, you could call a local computer repair shop.
A cheaper option would be to find a friend or family member who is “good with computers” and might remove the virus for you for free.
Finally, it sounds like you’ve already tried the different forums online, so the only other options I could think of are:
a) Download a different browser (and hope the homepage is ok):

If you know what you’re doing (more or less), Hijackthis is a great program used to remove viruses and stuff that starts with the computer.
