Which android phone is best?
My contract runs out this year and I’m looking to get a new phone. I need some recommendations as I can’t really decide which one and I think that someone with experience of a phone would know more. I would like an android, and here is a list of ones I think might be suitable.
I would need:
a good camera
music
internet
apps and games
e-book (if possible)
Some names I know are
htc desire (HD, S or Z)
htc evo
htc incredible
htc salsa
htc sensation
htc wildfire
samsung galaxy (or ace)
sony ericsson experia

I have sony erriccson experia its amazing liads of good free apps on the market downloads free music quickly has lots of browsing options also has wi.fi which is good i highly recommend it its like the i phone its very clever has video camera and a qwerty keyboard you can go on fb chat aswell with a app get it!

The HTC sensation has all that you require and more. I have one and love it ,very easy to use even if you have never used an android before ,lots of apps to download ,lots of games too and as it has a big screen good to play. It comes with six e books already on it ,all classics so worth a read and plenty more to download. It comes with 8Gb Sd memory but can take up to 32Gb

Samsung Galaxy and HTC Sensation are the best spec-wise, but they’re almost like tablets haha. The performance is amazing on them, but if you want something more… toned down I suppose, but still amazing spec and performance, HTC Desire HD or Desire S. Hope I helped.
You should also check out ‘www.youtube.com/PhoneArena’. Extensive, in-depth reviews of pretty much all of the HTC’s, Samsung’s, Sony Ericsson’s and the like.

According to your needs, I have some recommendations for you. Let’s have a look!
You mentioned that you need to play games. I suggest you buy Samsung Galaxy S2 if you play “big” games which provide a very gorgeous graphics such as Gameloft’s games. Samsung Galaxy S2 has a great 1.4GHz dual core processor. It is better for you to play “big” games which have the high hardware requirements on the devices with dual core processor. Also, the speed of loading the websites and user interfaces etc. will be faster.
However, if you just play “small” games which the hardware requirements are not high such as “Angry Birds” and “Doodle Jump”, you can consider to buy the device with single core processor. Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S is a good device with single core processor. It contains a 1.4 GHz processor and MSM8255 graphic core which the specifications is enough for playing normal games.
Moreover, it contains a 8MP camera with HD video recording function. It has also integrated the Exmor R technology from Sony. The photos taken at night and dark places will be sharper and clear.I hope my recommendations will be helpful for you.
