my phone is messed up/i need suggestions for a new one?
Alright, so here’s the deal.
I have the Sony Ericsson W580i, and today, on the phone with Rogers, I needed to get my SIM card. To do this, I have to take the battery cover off, which is frustratingly hard. Long story short, I took it off kind of violently. Anyways, my phone now randomly turns off if I slide it closed for long enough or slide it in and out too many times. Also, when I go to turn it on again, a few times the screen will be distorted. If anyone has any tips of some sort to help me out with fixing it somehow, could you give me a few? Thanks

If all else fails and my phone stops working, can anyone suggest phones that can be bought without a term (so that they can be prepaid) from rogers? The only really specific thing that I’m looking for is that the phone is decent, has a slide out qwerty keyboard, and isn’t very expensive. I’ve looked at some phones so far: the LG Rumor, LG Xenon, and the LG Neon. I’ve heard from people that the LG Rumor isn’t that great though, and the LG Xenon is expensive ($279.99 without a term). The LG Neon is a pretty cool phone, I just don’t really like it. If you guys have any other phone suggestions, I appreciate it.

u shouldnt have brought the w580 from s.e. at first place cuz its a phone full of problems and trouble for all the customers who brought it …
* low signal problems
* sudden drop of battery power indicator
* screen malfunctions
* keypad cracks after a weekall these problems comes with it and s.e. still havent figured out a way to solve those problems …
for u any phone with a cool look a good memory storage support web browser and a good 2mp cam or higher maybe with 3g cam and connection is recomended but before u buy the next phone read all the reviews about it through the internet first … no phone is 100% perfect …

Call att customer service. As long as there is no damage on the outside that they can see, they will replace the unit for free. They actually have a warranty program. Even if you didn’t buy the phone from att, give them a call and see what they can do for you.
