I am planning to buy a Laptop, what specs will you suggest?
I don’t play games by the way! I need only the minimum requirements.
Suggesting a new laptop feature would be highly appreciated!

You should get a hp laptop cost around maybe $700. Hp laptops are great for everythings and easy to restore. They come with 2 hard drives, one is the main, and the other is the recovery so you dont need recovery disks like most laptops. Everything from memory to video quality is perfect. So basically hp’s are more bang for bucks.

Look for a screen size you are comfortable with and if you will be toting it around consider the weight.
You should be happy with any of these cpu’s: Pentium M, Celeron M, Turion, Turion X2 and the Core Duo’s. Get 512mb ram minimum, 1 gb would be nice. Remember that most laptops have integrated graphics that borrows/steals system ram. Look for a 5400 rpm hard drive, not 4200 rpm. 7200 rpm is even better.
Check the connectors and their location are they easy to get to?
Macs do get viruses, there just aren’t as many written for them vs. the PC community.
