how do i get rid of a virus when i cant log onto the internet or load any cds?
my laptop has the virus trojan.32.looksky but i cant log onto the internet or load any cds,but i do have a working pc,ive downloaded the removal tool for it on my working pc but cant load it on my laptop…please help me!

You seem to have some way of getting on the internet. The link below will describe what it is, what the damage is and how to correct it.
I suggest you print it out. Easier way may be to use a thumb drive, floppy drive, or whatever to download one of the free scanners specific to this virus. The second link is to a page that offers the directions to removal, but offers their free scanner too.

If you can power on and go to start menu, click on control panel, click on system, click on hard ware and then devise manager. then check settings for CD drive in hard ware devise manager and enable drive, see if you can reinstall settings for Internet connections. If nothing else works try reinstalling your operating system or replace hard drive and then reinstall OS.

primarily its not a virus that you have in there more of a adware & malware.Then call Microsoft Security 1 866 727 2338 / they will assist you with the current concern you have and if you are willing they would and extract samples of such infections existing in your computer to help further improve security protection of microsoft tools and others as well.

Boot in safemode with networking and connect to your other pc and download the files. Or put them on a cd and load them.
