How can I recover my Android Market Place on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro which I accidentally deleted?
Hi
On my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro you can throw icons into a ‘bin’. I accidentally did this with my Android Market Place icon so now I can’t download new apps. Anyone know how I can restore it apart from completely resetting phone? I’ve had a look in the settings menus but can’t really see anything. Thanks
You deleted the Home screen LINK to the app or deleted the APP ?
The home screen(s) only has links to the real APP,
you can have a link on every screen if you want.
The APP screen (the one soft button with all the square dots) is the screen with the real APP, if that is still present, just hold you finger on it for a few seconds and it will jump it to a link to on the last home screen you were on. Let go and confirm it in place where you want it (second press)
If you have really deleted the APP (I suspect you can’t delete the inbuilt apps), then go to the web browser and search for Android Play or Market. It will let you down load it again – most apps can be downloaded outside the Google Play/Android Market. You may need to go to App defaults to allow Apps to be installed ‘outside the market’, re-enable that protection after you have downloaded the app (to keep the phone safe). You may have to give your Andriod account username/password when installing.
