hi ganesh, the best way to advice someone about laptops is to tell you what pcworld magazines declared was the best buy, although the answer will surprize you but please keep in mind that i am a dell man. the number one pick was tasheiba second was panasonic. the third pick i feel a drum roll comming on it was mitsabeishi then the third is a name intel then asus and then Dell. golly fourth or fifth on the list i could not believe it. Dell rates right up there in desktop so to come that low something is wrong with that picture and then apple so these bigger companies must be using their desktops to wow the customers while their laptops are being laps. now allow me to recommend what you should be looking for at least four gigbyte of ram and a laptop that has an i7 processer. i7 about a 960 is affordable this cost about $275.99 if you go to a i7 970 than the price shoots up to $569.99 then i7980 goes to $999.99 and i7 990 is about $1199.99 that is right so you can see what i mean. good luck hope i was helpful to you

i don’t know about the range but i think the laptops of acer are the best because it is contains all the necessary things for a laptop user. the graphic used is also good and its speed is also awesome. i am also using acers laptop and i am very much satisfied with acer.
